Every day's life ... in Amsterdam!

Moving to a new country always represents an important and difficult step in life. Different language and culture, new law and regulations to follow, and many logistics issues might constitute hard obstacles during the initial process of integration in a new community.

Luckily Holland is a very well organized country, where regulations are quite clear and easily availble and accessible to people. It's just a matter to understand where to find them and where to address any request and/or need that might arise during our every day's life.

This section has the aim (and the ambition) to try to ease a bit more your life as a new "Amsterdammer", explaining some of the "burocratical" peculiarities of this country and proposing you some information we believe very much helpful.

Of course here we proposed  just a "summary" of what we consider the major topics for the every day's life in Amsterdam and we have also presented some useful lists you might find interesting to go through to cope with some key need.

If you think we missed anything that deserves to be mentioned, described, and recommended, please TELL US! We would surely take your suggestion into account in the next update of this website.

Your opinion is very important for us!
